Cut Self Not nastao je u Beogradu 2007. godine, ubrzo nakon raspada beogradskih indie-punk heroja 36 Daggers, kada su dva člana tog benda udružila snage sa frontmenom pop-punk sastava Euforia .U prethodne tri godine oni su izdali jedan EP, koji je vrlo brzo rasprodat, i snimili LP koji će konačno ugledati svetlost dana tokom leta 2010., skoro godinu dana nakon početka rada na istom. U međuvremenu su odsvirali gomilu koncerata u Beogradu i još nekim gradovima na ex-yu prostoru."Math rock, punk, noise i post-rock salata sa malo pohovanog popa i prženih melodija" bio bi dobar opis njih kao obroka na muzičkom meniju. Sve to naravno pripremljeno uz slušanje bendova poput Medications, French Toast, Shellac, Fugazi, Les Savy Fav, Q and Not U, Don Caballero...

Cut Self Not was formed in Belgrade just after the split of Belgrade's indie-punk heroes 36 daggers when two of it's members, joined by a frontman of mainstream pop-punk outfit Euforia, started playing in 2007. In these 3 years, they released one EP which was sold out very fast and recorded LP which is finally about to be released during the summer of 2010., almost one year after they started working on it. Meanwhile they played tons of shows in Belgrade, and also played some here and there around EX Yugoslavia.''Math,punk,noise and post rock salad with some fried pop and grilled melody'' would describe them as a meal in a music menu.All of it would be of course prepared while listening to Medications, French Toast, Shellac, Fugazi, Les Savy Fav, Q and Not You, Don Caballero...
